Q: Why should I have a website?
A: Today we live more or less in a global situation, and there is a need to communicate with the whole world, especially if you are in business.
Q: I don't buy or sell other than locally, so why should I have a website, and what good will it do me by having one?
A: Having a website will help impart a professional image of your business, and offer you the opportunity to expand outside of your local area, as well as being able to keep in touch with your existing customers or clients showing new products and/or specials etc.
Q: What is a domain name?
A: A domain name is the name by which you are identified on the web. You own that name exclusively for as long as you keep it registered.
Q: How much does a domain name cost?
A: Various vendors charge different rates. It is usually better to have your host sell you a package deal that includes the domain name and the hosting of your site.
Q: What is a Host?
A: Your host is the organisation that holds your website at their establishment/server/location, allowing others to access your site on the World Wide Web (www).
Q: How long does it take for you to supply a website?
A: This is dependant on the complexity and content of the site. A single page site can be up and running in a day or so, however a larger site may take a week or longer to eventuate.
Q: What do you supply "at no cost".
A: All assistance with your
initial sourcing of host and domain name. All website design. All photograph
adjustments to make your site load faster.
Software to self-edit your website. Publishing of website to your host. Six months site maintenance.
If your domain name is long and hard to remember we can supply you with another

Q: How much does a website cost?
A: Good question...but hard to answer. Like building a house depends on how many rooms and what fixtures you would like to install, so it is with a website. As a guide we can offer you a two to three page site starting at $A250.
A four to six page site for around $A400 and a seven to ten page site for around $A700.
When you are looking around for a quote, keep in mind all of the little EXTRAS that we offer at no cost to you.
Q: If I am on a trip, can I add details to my website by myself?
A: Yes, as long as you have access to the internet, and using your own laptop or notebook, We can supply you with complimentary software that will allow you to add to your site or change it at any time. You won't be able to change your site when using Internet Cafes. With practice however you may be able to use some of the cafe computers by using Windows "NotePad".
Q: How do I get a quote and how much it will cost me?
A: Quotes are free. All you need to do is contact us with details of what you require, and we will take it from there. Our quote form is available through the Contact Us /Quotes page.
Finally: Websites are designed to be viewed on a computer screen, and not meant to be printed to hard copy. On some sites however, you will be able to do this with little or no trouble. You will see in many sites an area to "click here for printable version". This usually happens when a designer has not been told beforehand that the content is to be printed. Save yourself money by telling us if you need any of of your site to be made printable. TOP
